For over 700 years, the Habsburgs shaped their (salt) chamber estate.
The Habsburgs used the salt revenues to finance wars and their European marriage policy. For the inhabitants of the region, on the other hand, this meant many privileges such as tax exemption, exemption from military service and food supplies.
The Bad Goisern historian Dr. Michael Kurz will give a lecture on this exciting topic and will be accompanied by music from the "Schuastal Dreigesang" from the Salzkammergut.
