Rodel fun on the Salzstiegl: A 2 km long, floodlit and snow-covered toboggan run awaits you in the Graz Region. The toboggan taxi takes you comfortably up to an altitude of 1,554 metres - ideal for families and groups.

The Salzstiegl in Styria offers tobogganing fun on a 2 km long, perfectly groomed toboggan run. In the Graz Region at 1,320 metres above sea level, the toboggan hut is located right next to the Gasthof Moasterhaus. There are tickets and around 120 toboggans to choose from. The one-off hire fee is 8 euros, plus a deposit of 10 euros, which is refunded on return.

If you bring your own toboggan, you save the hire fee but have to use the toboggan shuttle. The toboggan taxis, spacious shuttle buses with room for up to eight people, take guests comfortably to the starting point of the toboggan run at 1,554 metres. Sledges may only be transported in the official VW buses, private vehicles are not permitted. Tickets are available in the toboggan hut, in the Salzstiegelhaus and at the lift ticket office.

Alternatively, the 3 km route can also be covered on foot in around 50 minutes. Most guests opt for the shuttle to get to the floodlit and snow-covered run more quickly. The toboggan run is safely groomed, has two speedometers and offers fun for all ages. The journey with the toboggan taxi and the subsequent descent together take around 30 minutes.

A ticket for the shuttle bus is required to use the toboggan run. The toboggan run on the Salzstiegl is ideal for family outings as well as for socialising with friends. The unique route and safe surroundings make the toboggan run a special experience. Booking is not necessary, the waiting time is usually less than 10 minutes.
