We start the hiking route in Bad Blumau. After the Brugner farm shop, we turn right and cross the wooden bridge over the Safenbach stream into the Bad Blumau thermal spa park. On the gravel path, we pass the pigeon coop, biotope and willow construction. At the riding stable, we cross the roundabout to Kleinsteinbach. First we head south for a while and then turn left into a short climb. Once we reach the edge of the forest in Untergfangen, the route now goes downhill a little. On the right we see horses from the Nowak horse farm in the paddock. At the crossroads, turn left for approx. 600 metres and then left again. After this short stretch of road of approx. 300 metres, turn right. Pass the geothermal plant and enter the shady forest. Enjoy the tranquillity and power of nature through this forest. Once you reach the Dachenriegel, you can take a break at the Rauers Ernte farm shop (self-service open 24 hours a day). Now turn right towards Bierbaum. Before the railway track and the bridge, turn right into Florianiweg and cross the railway track to reach the small village characterised by farmhouses.
Passing the chapel, we take the Angerweg to the northern edge of the village and follow the Eichenweg uphill to the 1000-year-old oak tree. It is worth taking a good look at this tree, which is a natural monument. We continue along the edge of the forest and through the forest towards Loimeth. At the crossroads in the village, turn right along the village road until you reach the Bad Blumau valley. With the village ahead of us, we head towards the town centre.
