In 2026, it will be time to celebrate the 950th anniversary of the Benedictine monastery of St. Lambrecht! Under the title “LIVING SPIRITUALLY – for 950 years” the anniversary year will commence with the year-end mass on December 31, 2025.
Afterwards, the extensive program in the anniversary year 2026 invites you to experience Benedictine culture in diverse ways. It opens up spaces to immerse in the prayer life with the monks, find moments of silence, and give yourself that time out that has become so precious in an often crazy world.

For over 900 years, the Benedictine Abbey of St. Lambrecht has shaped not only the local landscape of the beautiful nature park community but also the people in and around this place. Even today, the monastery connects the places and people of the nature park and fosters many positive developments in peaceful coexistence.
Getting to know the monastery: Abbey tours, monastery for a time, school of being, abbey garden, monastery and nature park shop.

Tours daily from May 15 to October 15 (starting from 5 people) at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. On Sundays and holidays, tours take place directly after the service and at 2:30 p.m.

Tours for groups of 10 or more by prior arrangement are also possible outside these times.
