Zirbitzkogel Schutzhaus

Just 20 meters below the summit of the Zirbitzkogel is a serviced hut, the Zirbitzkogel-Schutzhaus at 2376 m, officially known as the Helmut-Erd-Schutzhaus. The winter room is open all year round, but has no heating or cooking facilities.

Stop in and enjoy simple but tasty cuisine with a fantastic view at 2,300 meters above sea level. Tables and benches invite you to lean back, feast and enjoy!
