Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive via Murau to St. Ruprecht.

Coming from Tamsweg via Stadl an der Mur, drive straight on to St. Ruprecht.

The starting point of this wood world tour is the wood museum in St. Ruprecht. From here, head towards Murau and hike via Bodendorf and Lutzmannsdorf to St. Georgen ob Murau. Turn right here and walk via St. Lorenzen railroad station and the village square along the Mur cycle path to Murau. In Murau, keep left and continue to the Murau-Stolzalpe local heating plant. Turn around here and take the same route back to Murau. In Murau, the path runs as shown on the map.
