Sustainable thinking & action at Spielberg

The initiatives for sustainable thinking and action include the topics of mobility, energy, regional supply chains, waste management and the fight against food waste. For the two annual top events Formula 1 and MotoGP in particular, the focus is on reducing CO2 emissions when fans travel to the event, a photovoltaic system has been installed on the large roof of the Red Bull Wing, a biomass cogeneration plant supplies the infrastructure with heat and the majority of suppliers come from the region.
