HWW-Bicycle route: Lafnitz - St. Ilgen - Eichberg - Rohrbach - Kroisbach (circular trail)
This HWW cycle route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.
This HWW cycle route (circular cycle route) leads from Lafnitz via St. Ilgen to Eichberg, Lebing, Rohrbach to Kroisbach and back to Lafnitz. Along the HWW cycle route you come to the HWW station Lebing/Römergrab, where you can learn about the significance of the find there from Roman times.

Arrival by car
- Take the A2 Süd highway.
- Take exit 115 Hartberg and turn left onto the B54 in the direction of Hartberg.
- Drive through Hartberg and follow the B54 for about 15 km.
- Turn left onto the L408 in the direction of Lafnitz.
- Arrival in Lafnitz: After about 4 km you reach the village of Lafnitz.
The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.
- The route starts in Lafnitz.
- The tour leads from Lafnitz to St. Ilgen and Eichberg.
- From Eichberg, the route runs to Lebing and Rohrbach an der Lafnitz.
- The route continues to Kroisbach.
- The circular tour ends back in Lafnitz.
