<We start our tour at the Garten-Hotel Ochensberger and head north. After the church, we turn left towards Mitterdorf an der Raab. We follow Stadler Straße past Schloss Stadl until we reach the junction with the L72. Here we turn right onto the L72 towards Weiz. We continue to Greith where we turn right after a petrol station to Obergreith to the Weizer Schafbauern. There we experience everything to do with sheep and Weizer mountain lamb. Discover lamb products for gourmets, refined sheep's cheese, warm cosy wool and sheep's milk cosmetics - sustainable, natural and organic. After this culinary experience, we follow the L72 towards Weiz. At the roundabout in Weiz, we continue straight on, following the L71 towards Birkfeld. We follow this road until we reach Hart-Puch, where we turn right onto the L391 towards Puch. In Harl we turn right to the Leitner fruit farm, vulgo Niglbauer: delicious apple juices, cider, brandies, vinegar and honey. At the Niglbauer on the Styrian Apple Road, everything revolves around this special fruit. Be sure to try the ‘Garden of Eden’ apple sparkling wine! We then head back towards Harl, but continue on to Puch bei Weiz at the crossroads in Harl.
There we make our next stop at the Höfler adventure gardens & tree nursery. A treasure trove of flowers, shrubs and trees, nestled in rolling hills, invites you to browse, savour and shop in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. After the Höfler nursery, we take the Kulmstraße and the Kulmkeltendorf through the beautiful landscape of the Styrian Apple Road. Enjoy the fragrant apple orchards and wonderful views of Eastern Styria, the garden of Austria. We continue to Siegersdorf near Herberstein, where we meet the East Styrian Roman Wine Route. The unique landscape between the vineyards invites you to take a break and enjoy the breathtaking views. Our next and last break is at the Posch winery and tavern: the outstanding wines, produced with love for generations, have won national and international awards. Accompanied by smoked sausages, refined according to a family recipe. Pure enjoyment! We follow the B54 to the roundabout in Gleisdorf where we take the first exit and drive back to St. Ruprecht an der Raab to the Garten-Hotel Ochensberger.
