Raab Kanutouren - Weites Land Abenteuerclub
Added value in every respect: recreation, experience, experience. Together in community and good regional food on the Raab.
Discover life, celebrate & conquer the world
Feel like getting away from it all for a day and getting into nature? To meet yourself and others? Meet new people, but find peace at the same time? The river Raab rises in Passail and flows into the Danube after 250 kilometers in Hungary. Canoeing along the Raab to Hungary - anyone can do it now.
With the Weites Land Adventure Club - led by Alexander Peschel and Peter Kerschbaumer - you can spend a day together on the Raab, paddling, enjoying nature, cooking together and experiencing community in a group. In addition to the experience of nature, each tour also includes a short impulse about life topics concerning body, soul and spirit.
You should be able to swim, other previous experience is not required. After a short instruction, which teaches the basic rules (simple paddling technique, entry/exit, dealing with difficult situations), it's off onto the water and towards the adventure.
Children can only be taken along if accompanied by a parent or guardian. In case of bad weather or water conditions, the tour will be cancelled or postponed. Food is provided and included in the price.
Adventure Club
Peter Kerschbaumer from Markt Hartmannsdorf loves adventure. For ten years he organized professionally adventure camps and canoe tours in Sweden. Now he conquers the Raab with his canoe fleet. All activities are run through the specially founded "Weites Land Abenteuerclub". The idea behind it is not to fight your way archaically through the wilderness, but to encounter nature and yourself.
On offer are day canoe tours on the Raab (from Jennersdorf or St. Gotthard in Hungary), courses on Lake Stubenberg and a one-week lake adventure trip in Sweden.
