Tour 67e - MTB - Murtalblick round long

The start of the Murtalblicktour in the Murtal region in Styria begins near Gasthof Wulz at junction 59 (parking after the bridge on the left) and continues on asphalt road into the Sulzbachgraben to the Helicopter Marterl with the bench. Now go straight uphill on a beautiful forest path towards Nußbolderhütte. After that you can decide whether you want to shorten the route, in which case you leave immediately to the left or extend the tour and continue straight ahead. After the gate it goes left briefly steeply downhill and drives straight ahead towards Sattelbauer. On a short stretch of meadow with a resting bench, you then drive down the forest path to the left again and come to the asphalt road to the viewing platform and the Thalberghof with the beautiful shady terrace. At the Thalberghof parking lot, turn left to the barrier and continue on a gentle gravel path past observation benches downhill along the Mur River to the dog training area in Apfelberg. At junction 58 the tour continues left on the cycle path to Großlobming to the starting point. A few minutes from the parking lot and certainly worth seeing, is the herbal competence center in Großlobming the herbal man with over 300 different medicinal and wild plants in the garden of the technical school (admission 5, -).
