4 elements tour FIRE 2 in the thermal & volcanic country Styria
Open
An epicurean experience with many views! From the oldest spa town in Styria, to the Gesamtsteirische Vinothek, to the famous wine-growing villages of Klöch, Tieschen and Straden back to Bad Gleichenberg.
In the thermal & volcanic land of Styria, the four elements - water, fire, earth and air - have found their home. For this reason, these e-bike tours are also dedicated to the four elements.
This tour is dedicated to FIRE.
Unbridled passion, emotion and intensity - we are talking about the element of fire, which is firmly anchored in the history of the region. This e-bike tour takes you through the former land of volcanoes, which spewed hot lava millions of years ago and thus still shape the entire southeastern Styria region today. Where there is fire, there is energy - and you will need it on the upcoming tour. But don't worry, on your way through the varied landscape, many inns and wine taverns will welcome you for a rest.
With the support of the federal government and the European Union.

Arrival by car is also possible via the A2 - Südautobahn. Freeway exit: Gleisdorf West.
Detailed information on how to get there can be found
here.
Our starting point of the Feuer 2 bike tour is in the traditional spa town of Bad Gleichenberg. It lies at the foot of the Gleichenberger Kogel - it is one of the older volcanoes in the region. Your tour takes us along the R12 to the Gesamtsteirische Vinothek in St. Anna am Aigen. The fantastic panoramic view from the market place of the village is certainly one of the most beautiful places along the bike tour. Along the border road, the tour takes us to another highlight - the wine-growing village of Klöch. Known for the Klöcher Traminer and its with its fantastic location.
Our circumnavigation of the Stradner Kogel and the Königsberg is truly legendary. Actually a regional classic in the middle of wine-growing areas. Via Tieschen we radelsn to Frutten-Gießelsdorf, where we can strengthen ourselves at MaiKa with a wonderful coffee and a great panorama. Over the Rosenberg (wonderful view to Straden with its four churches) we cycle past the wool pigs into the valley. The "nostalgic country life" could be our next stop. The tour now leads us via the R45 back to the starting point. Here is our constant companion - the highest volcano in the region, the Stradner Kogel.
From Bad Gleichenberg, the Gleichenberg train takes you comfortably to Feldbach or Gnas. A ride is truly an experience. Here is the
Rail schedule.
