The Bad Gleichenberger Radweg leads over a distance of 34 km through the Styrian Volcano Country and has the starting point in Feldbach (connection to the R11) or in Donnersdorf (connection to the R2).
Coming from Feldbach, the R45 is close to the main road, be careful not to underestimate the slope. Don't worry, this is the only one of its kind on the R45. After this climb we will soon reach Bad Gleichenberg, a historic spa town. Let's take the time to get to know the wonderful spa park a bit and maybe spend some time in the Therme der Ruhe in Bad Gleichenberg. Afterwards we continue via Sulz and Waldsberg to Straden. Straden is famous for its location with the Himmelsberg and for its four churches with only three towers - how does that work? Let's see for ourselves! (The detour to Straden brings us additional meters of altitude, but also from the valley the place is beautiful to see).
Along the Sulzbach, the cycle path leads us further to Radochen and to Unterpurkla, where we will soon reach the junction in the Au. Here we can cycle along the Murradweg and hear the thirst of Knoblach in spring - wild garlic grows particularly well here!
