From hut to hut in the only national park in Styria

With over 500 km of hiking trails and one of the largest density of mountain huts in the Eastern Alps, paths are laid for a multi-day hiking experience in the only national park in Styria. The Gesäuse section of the hiking route ,,From Glacier to Wine" combines the untouched mountain wilderness of the Gesäuse National Park with the excellent all-round service at two of our more than 100 year old refuges. The absolute highlight besides the hiking and hut experience is the breathtaking view of the darkest night sky in Austria. Only at the huts in the middle of the National Park you can still see the Milky Way as you would too in the far North of Europe or in Canada.
