Weg Nr. 8 Wildgehege und Haigl
The hike starts at GH Grüner Specht and leads us past the church over the Blahbachbrücke bridge to Bachstraße. Passing the Nagelschmied cross, we continue along Franz-Josef-Straße towards the forest park. Through the forest we reach the village of Winden and arrive at the Hofschenke Haigl.
The hike starts at the Grüner Specht inn and first takes us past the church and the church square over the Blahbach bridge. We follow Bachstraße and pass the Nagelschmied cross before continuing along Franz-Josef-Straße in the direction of the forest park. After a short section through the forest, past a small goat farm, we reach the village of Winden. In Oberwinden, we first turn left and then right after about 100 meters. The path leads us past farms and a housing estate until we finally reach the B114 main road. After crossing the road and keeping left briefly, we reach the Hofschenke Haigl, where we can enjoy a well-earned break. The way back follows the same route and again offers charming views of the surrounding area. This varied hike combines rural idyll, forest sections and cozy refreshment stops to create a rewarding experience.
