The Sch(m)ankerlweg (trail no. 14) takes about 1.5 hours and leads from the Ligist market square past the Ligist Museum (opposite the elementary school) directly to the historic wine press. From there you follow a slightly ascending path. The route continues along a forest and meadow path with panoramic views of Ligist and the Kainachtal valley to the Rosenzopf beekeeping farm. Here you can not only try out honey products, but also get interesting information about the life of bees. Passing the Huber Chapel on the right, the asphalted path now leads directly through the forest to the Buschenschank Zach, which offers regional delicacies and typical wines from Western Styria. The path leads you downhill through the orchards to the Dokter wine tavern. Here, too, you can sample delicacies and delicious regional fruit and wine products. Afterwards, the trail leads alongside the vineyards and along Grabenstrasse back to the market square in Ligist.
