For those who enjoy a leisurely and expansive experience. The Gamlitz water tower offers a magnificent view from its top, providing a unique panoramic experience – perfectly combining exercise and sightseeing.

Start at the sports field and run or walk uphill towards Retzneier Straße until you reach the ridge. Here, follow the "Running & Walking Trail 1b" marker to the right. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the magnificent view over Gamlitz along the ridge. Continue until you reach Skoffweg on your right, leading up to the water tower. Be sure to take a break here, grab a cold drink at the self-service hut, and if you like, climb back up to the top of the water tower for the view. Follow the markers again to Weinleiten Straße and cross it to reach the Motorikpark (motor skills park) – those who haven't had enough can really burn off some energy here. Continue along the stream to the Hotel Weinlandhof. Cross the main road here and continue following the stream via Krainer Allee back to the Gamlitz sports field.

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the Vogau exit. Follow the B69 towards Ehrenhausen until you reach Gamlitz.

Starting from the parking lot behind the church in the direction of the sports field, continue along Retzneier Strasse to the intersection with Weinleitenhöhenstrasse. There continue to the Prossyweg, then down the Weinleitengasse to the field cross. Then along the B69, back through the village center to the Raiffeisenbank and back to the starting point.
