In the new Graz Museum Schlossberg, there is a lot for children to discover: In the wonder garden, mythical creatures such as panthers, elephants and lions invite you to play and discover. From the Cannon Hall, you not only have the widest view of the city, you can also turn back the clock on an interactive screen. An exhibition tells you all about the origins and history of the Schlossberg Castle Hill. And things get really exciting in the underground casemate. Here, a multimedia model of the Schlossberg shows you the inside of the mountain and its tunnel system.
A museum for everyone - highlight of Graz's city history
History lessons become an interactive experience on Graz's Schlossberg - a new view of the provincial capital opens up. Visitors standing in the old cannon hall, the stable bastion or the cannon bastion have an impressive view of the city. And if the weather is not playing along? Then history fans can take a look at the interactive maps in the museum: on the screens, they can turn the wheel of time back to the era that interests them the most. Because: In the ‘Graz View’, the change in the cityscape can be traced in fast motion.
