On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the Schaubergwerk Oberzeiring invites you to a torch walk at 06:00 p.m. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience the winter landscape in a contemplative atmosphere.
The torchlight hike leads through the picturesque alleys of Oberzeiring and illuminates the fascinating history of the former silver mine. In the glow of the torches, participants experience the special atmosphere and learn exciting details about silver mining and the life of the miners. The approximately one-hour tour concludes with captivating tales and legends surrounding the mine, including the dramatic story of the demise of Zeiringer mining. These narratives give the hike a mystical touch and bring the past to life.
The torchlight hike ends with a cozy gathering at the Gruamkaffee, where the evening concludes harmoniously with warm drinks and convivial conversation.
