Our farm is located on the northern edge of the Pöllauer Tal nature park at an altitude of around 850m. In 2016 we took over the organic farm from our parents. Our company has been organically certified since 1992, something we live by and want to pass on to our children. My parents switched the business to organic sheep in 1997 and started marketing organic lambs regionally, which we continue to do.
Our sheep and lambs are kept in free-range stables on fresh straw and on our own lush meadows in our 3-Kant-Hof, depending on the weather from April to November (at least 210 days a year) outdoors. Our sheep only get feed from our own farm, because it is very important to us that everything is produced in the cycle of nature.
