Start the hiking season in the Graz Region with a family hike in Semriach.
Dear hiking enthusiasts, on 6 April we cordially invite you to the opening of the Semriach hiking season in beautiful Styria. The meeting point is at 9.30 am at the Semriacherhof, where a delicious egg-based breakfast awaits you. At 10:00 a.m. we start our leisurely family hike through the picturesque landscape of the Graz Region.
Our route takes us via Semriach in the direction of the Rötschgrabenweg. This family-friendly hiking trail offers marvellous views of the surrounding mountains and leads along the Rötschgraben to the Hengstweg. On the way, we pass the Hoyos stud farm, known for its magnificent Icelandic horses. A break there allows you to experience the animals up close and enjoy the idyllic atmosphere.
After the break, we continue our hike and return to the starting point, stopping briefly to reflect on the impressions of the tour.

- Comfortable hiking boots
- Hiking clothing suitable for the weather
- backpack with sufficient drinks
- Rain protection
