Weingut Paschek
Leutschach an der WeinstraßeNestled in the picturesque wine region of Southern Styria, one of Austria’s most stunning wine landscapes, this family-run winery offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by rolling hills and lush vineyards. Guests are invited to savor the tranquility, wander through the vineyards, and experience the region’s natural beauty.
For three generations, the winery has been dedicated to viticulture. Situated at 452 meters above sea level, with vineyards facing south and southwest, the estate cultivates 4.2 hectares of grape varieties, including Welschriesling, Weißburgunder, Sämling 88, Sauvignon Blanc, Muskateller, and Blauer Zweigelt.
The diverse soil composition, ranging from Opok to gravel, provides optimal conditions for growing dry, fruit-driven wines in the Styrian style. A significant portion of the vineyard work is done by hand, ensuring the highest quality grapes. Combined with meticulous cellar work and state-of-the-art technology, the result is wines of exceptional quality.
Eckhard Paschek, a graduate of the Silberberg School of Viticulture and a certified master winemaker, is the creative mind behind the estate’s wines. He is responsible for crafting an impressive range of wines, fine brandies, juices, and award-winning sparkling wine. His expertise and precision in winemaking have earned numerous awards, including the prestigious regional title for sparkling wines and brandies.
Hospitality is also a priority. The hostess, a certified Austrian Sommelier trained at WIFI Styria, organizes wine tastings at the estate, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.
