What kind of toxic mother-son relationship is that in the children's song “Hänschen klein”? And why is a cheerful song about a cook who smashes a pug in half? And then there are these fairy tales! What illness does Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother have that can be cured with wine?
In a cabaret horror show suitable for the xylophone, Caroline Athanasiadis and Klaus Oppitz take a closer look at the stories of our childhood. And they ask themselves what a modern children's song should sound like. One that lulls the little ones into a sense of security as they head for a life between economic crisis, heart attack and divorce.
