The Perchten season in Leibnitz has reopened! A

 special Perchten run for all visitors and traditional groups is the Perchten run in the wine town of Leibnitz. In order to take away the children's fear of the masks, a mask presentation will take place in daylight from 2.00 pm. There will be an opportunity to take photos with the Perchten groups.

The next highlight will be a children's Perchten run at around 3.30 pm. All children up to the age of 12 with masks and costumes are cordially invited. The meeting point is at approx. 3.00 pm at the “old” Leibnitz music school in 27.-Jänner-Straße in Leibnitz. The children will be accompanied by several Santa Clauses. They will hand out sweets to the children along the route.

The big Perchtenlauf then starts at 5.00 pm in the center of the wine town of Leibnitz. This year marks the 28th edition of the Leibnitz Perchtenlauf. The organizers, the leisure and youth club in cooperation with the municipality of Leibnitz, can once again present a great program. Around 30 folklore clubs with approx. 400 Perchten from four federal states with angels, witches, fire breathers and many other masks have registered. Route: Cultural Center, Bahnhofstraße, Hauptplatz, Grazergasse, Quergasse back to the Cultural Center.
