Experience and understand energy
In the electricity experience world, e-Lugitsch shows the path of electricity and how energy saving is possible without loss of quality of life. A demonstration power plant with a fish snail shows how electricity is generated from hydropower. A photovoltaic park rounds off the world of experience.
The past and present also come very close together in the e-Lugitsch electricity world of experience. For example, a washing tub and a laundry hump stand next to a washing machine, or a tube television from the 1950s next to a flat-screen TV. These examples are used to demonstrate the rapid progress of technology and also to raise awareness of where we would be today without further development and research.
Guided tours are available for groups of eight or more - by appointment. Visitors' wishes will be gladly taken into account. Special tours are offered for kindergartens and schools, imparting knowledge in an age-appropriate manner. Meeting point is at Florian Lugitsch GmbH in Gniebing (duration approx. 2 hours).
