Experience a guided tour through the small, fine brewery LAVA Bräu.

It is also a hike through a unique region - the Styrian volcanic region. The brewery tour is rounded off with a tasting of two vital types of beer. On request, whiskies with a strong character are served as a special rarity of the region.

Group tours possible from Monday to Saturday,
by appointment only!
No guided tours on Sundays and public holidays.

TIP: For hotel guests, individuals, couples or small groups
have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour on Fridays at 12 noon.

Fri. from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Closed on Sundays and public holidays

Opening hours at Christmas:
December 28 - 30 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

We are closed in January,
because the whisky mash needs a lot of attention!

Our small brewery in the heart of Vulkanland is also an award-winning whisky manufacturer. Carefully selected ingredients in organic quality and an intensive focus on production create incomparably tasty beers and exceptional whiskies, which you can taste on an excursion through the brewery and, of course, buy in the brewery store.

Our raw materials are all certified organic and come from the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria, and for WOAZKY and ROGGEN we use organic maize (gently dried and still able to germinate) and organic rye from the Styrian Vulkanland (organic farmer Heinz Unger).
