Short distances on foot, longer distances by bus and train - in Ausseerland-Salzkammergut the car engine stays cold. Thanks to numerous bus lines and the railway stations in the main towns, the Ausseerland offers a well-developed public transport network that everyone can use as they please.

And drivers of electric cars are also very welcome in Ausseerland. The battery can be recharged at numerous charging stations and the environmentally conscious journey continues.

From now on, there will be significantly more buses and trains in the region on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays - ideal for leisure, excursions & climate-friendly mobility!

This is new:
- More journeys on the RegioBus lines 950, 955 & 956 to Altaussee, Grundlsee and between Bad Aussee and Stainach - including weekend services, extended routes & better connections
- Extended season until 2.11.2025 on the Losermaut to the Panoramabahn
- RegioBahn R170: At least 13 trains per day in each direction between Stainach-Irdning & Bad Aussee

The Ausseerland railway stations are located in Bad Aussee, Pich-Kainisch, Bad Mitterndorf and Tauplitz. Travel from there comfortably by bus.
