It is best to plan the journey to Bad Mitterndorf with
google.at/maps.
Start at the parking lot between Steirerhütte and Eselalm (near riding school) and walk along the asphalt path (signposted Obersdorfer Rundweg) through the Laasen nature reserve.
On the way you pass a small pond. Continue in the direction of the Salzkammergut Bundesstraße B145, cross it at the Gasthaus zur Einkehr and continue on the accompanying path next to the Bundesstraße. At the riding school the B145 is crossed again and you come back to the starting point.
Along the way you pass a small pond - there you can admire the ducks and geese.
