Cross-country skiing fees and cross-country skiing tickets
Pay once, and you're ready to glide your cross-country skis through the perfect trails of the Ausseerland. And that’s for the entire season. Purchasing the trail passes for the cross-country skiing areas is the first step toward enjoying the skiing experience.
Good to know: The use of cross-country ski trails in Altaussee, Bad Aussee and Grundlsee is free of charge.
Trail Tickets for the 2025/2026 Season
For the 2025/2026 cross-country skiing season, the following ticket options are available:
- 2025/2026 Standard Season Pass
- 2025/2026 Plus Season Pass
- 1-Day Trail Ticket including lift/bus ascent
- 1-Day Trail Ticket
- 3-Day Trail Ticket
- 7-Day Trail Ticket
- Morning Trail Ticket
- Afternoon Trail Ticket
- Free 1-Day Child Trail Ticket
The trail tickets are valid for the following cross-country skiing areas:
- Pichl-Kainisch
- Bad Mitterndorf
- Tauplitz village and Tauplitzalm
New for 2025/2026: With the Season Pass Plus and the 1-Day Cross-Country Ticket including lift/bus ascent (except the 2025/2026 Standard Season Pass), a free daily round trip with the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße bus from Bad Mitterndorf and a round trip with the 4-seater chairlift of the Tauplitz Bergbahnen from Tauplitz is included. These trips can be used once daily. In order to use the free bus service on the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße or the chairlift service of the Tauplitz Bergbahnen, you must carry a complete and appropriate cross-country skiing outfit.
Note: Children up to their 16th birthday can use the trails for free but must obtain a valid free day ticket for the round trips on the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße and Tauplitz Bergbahnen.
