From the center of the village, walk through Ischlerstraße over the Reitererbrücke bridge, immediately turn right past a small shopping center to Elisabeth-Promenade. Continue to the right, past the children's playground and then turn into the right street. After about 200 meters you come to the tennis hall. (back side)From here, follow the road, which climbs steeply shortly afterwards, to Reitern in the village of Schmiedgut.
The effort of the ascent is richly rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view of the mountains of the Ausseerland. The trail continues through a rural settlement area in a westerly direction.
After about one kilometer you come to a fork in the road. Pass it on the left and then immediately turn right downhill to the new Wimmstraße. Crossing this road, the path leads downhill on the old Wimmstraße for only a few meters. Then turn left onto a dirt road, follow the Alpengarten signs and you will come to the Salzkammergut Bundesstraße B145, climbing between houses. Cross the road, continue left for 50 meters and turn right into the next road. Follow the signs uphill until you reach the alpine garden.
After visiting the alpine garden, walk down the road to the parking lot. Here, in the district of Voglbichl, an access road leads off. On this road, past houses, you reach the goods road branching off to the right. Following the markings to the Narzissen Vital Resort, we reach the Brennerlacke (Mayerl settlement) across partly damp meadows.
Follow the road downhill and after about 250 meters you come to Fischgasse, a municipal road. Continue on this road to the left for about 100 meters and then turn right onto the agricultural road. To the right is the golf course. After about 250 meters a path branches off to the right, which then leads to the NarzissenVital Resort on the left.
Following the signpost, you reach a meadow and an access road to the former Teichwirt inn via the Narzissen Vital Resort parking lot. At the road junction turn left downhill to the Salzkammergut Bundesstraße B 145, cross it, then straight ahead past the Red Cross service station and turn left to the path through the Schindergraben.
It leads over steps down to the tennis hall and subsequently back to the starting point in the spa park Bad Aussee.
