Scheibelalm - Family Rössl

The Scheibelalm is located in Hohentauern at an elevation of about 1,686 meters, nestled in the picturesque cirque between the peaks of Hauseck, Bösenstein, and Hengst in the Wölzer Tauern. From Hohentauern, the hut is easily accessible via a toll road or various hiking trails. The Scheibelalm is a traditional mountain hut under landscape protection and offers an idyllic spot for hikers and nature lovers to take a break. You can enjoy Styrian specialties here, such as freshly produced butter, the famous Murtaler Steirerkäse, rye pastries, and freshly brewed mountain coffee.
