The pilgrimage church Maria Buch is an important place of pilgrimage in the upper Mur valley, construction began in 1455. The late Gothic hall church captivates with a magnificent spatial effect.

The pilgrimage church in Maria Buch is impressive. It is one of the oldest pilgrimage churches in Austria. The powerful high altar from 1651 is flanked by golden vines. The late Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary from 1480 sits under a canopy in the middle of the altar.
