Tour 10a - MTB - Schwarzer Herrgott
This wooded tour starts at tour point 10 at Gasthof Mooswirt in Steinmetzgraben near Fohnsdorf in the
Murtal adventure region in styria and is a nice circular tour for all MTB enthusiasts. Along the Allerheiligenbach it goes uphill to the end of the asphalt road and turn left on gravel road and then the path leads straight to the summit cross "Black Lord". Elfi Lukas describes in the book Von Schloss zu Schloss (From Castle to Castle): "When lightning struck the cross, the statue of Christ turned black but did not burn". A popular destination for Murtal hikers and bikers. The descent goes sharply to the right in the direction of Himmelbauer and enjoy the view in the direction of Pöls during a short break. Continue to the quarry Pöls Oberkurzheim where now the asphalt road begins again and drive through the village to the turnoff left to Fohnsdorf. On very narrow well-traveled road, the tour leads straight to Allerheiligen and from there left in the Steinmetzgraben and continue the stream to the inn Mooswirt with great stop.
