A wonderful hike with a varied landscape and places to stop for refreshments.
The Heimschuh South Circular Trail begins at the Heimschuh municipal office and runs through the courtyard of the Hartlieb oil mill towards the centre of Heimschuh. After passing the Heimschuh primary school, it continues along forest and meadow paths towards Nestelberg. Following the markings on the municipal path, you cross the main road and continue along a scenic route via Königsberg to the Koschak inn.
From there, you can return to the starting point via the Sulmtal cycle path (R1).

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the Leibnitz exit. Continue towards Kaindorf an der Sulm and follow the B74 to Heimschuh.
Variant 5a: The Heimschuh - Nestelberg connection takes us along the municipal path without any major differences in altitude and allows us to do shortened variants of the hike.
Take advantage of this opportunity and visit the Hartlieb pumpkin seed oil mill.
Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport.
For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible.
Depending on the region, additional local transport options are available.
