The transparent glass body integrates the art house into the historical fabric of the old town of Weiz. The building (constructed from 2003 to 2005) surprises as a "large gesture" within a small medieval structure. The building is designed with two floors, with the entire ground floor offering spaces for trade and gastronomy. The upper floor forms the essential core of the art house, which houses the event hall, foyer, and exhibition areas. Efforts towards ecological sustainability have been honored with the Austrian Eco-label.
Since its opening in May 2005, nearly 1 million people have visited the art house!
