Hohenbrugg trail (Hohenbrugg-Weg)

Discover the villages of Auffen, Großhart and Hohenbrugg and the natural paradise that surrounds them.

The starting point of the hiking tour is the center of Auffen. The 11.2 km long circular trail leads through unspoiled nature and is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet.

From direction Vienna:
A2 freeway in the direction of Graz - you take the Sebersdorf/ Bad Waltersdorf exit, then in the direction of Auffen.

From direction Graz:
Freeway A2 direction Vienna - you take the exit Sebersdorf/ Bad Waltersdorf, then direction Auffen.

Start of the hike is in the center of Auffen. Go to the center of Großhart and turn left at the Eisschützenhaus. On the main road keep left and after 200 m turn right in the direction of Hohenbrugg. At the beginning of the village turn left into the Buchwald. Cross the forest and walk towards Linzbüchl and Großhart. Finally you come back to your starting point, the center of Auffen.
  1. start: center of Auffen
  2. continue to the center of Großhart
  3. turn left at the Eisschützenhaus
  4. turn left on the main road, after 200 m turn right in the direction of Hohenbrugg
  5. at the beginning of the village turn left through Buchwald
  6. then direction Linzbüchl and Großhart
  7. return to the starting point: center of Auffen
