Road bike and gravel tours

Eastern Styria combines sporting challenges with the tranquillity and diversity of an impressive natural backdrop for road cycling and gravel biking.

On a road bike and gravel vacation in Austria, more precisely in the green heart of our country, you will experience an incomparable culinary variety, scenic landscapes, cultural and natural monuments, and excursion destinations as far as the eye can see.

A highlight for racing cyclists is definitely the ride up to the Teichalm, with crisp and challenging climbs, breathtaking views and traditional culinary delights in the Latschenhütte (mountain pine hut) directly at the Teichalmsee. Here you can let your feet hang in the Teichalmsee to cool off or find a shady spot along the moor nature trail. St. Ruprecht an der Raab and Weiz are also ideal starting points for training days and racing bike vacations in Styria. Here, the roads tend to be flatter, so you can really pedal your road bike.

Centrally located in Eastern Styria, only a few minutes by car from Graz, you can start from our idyllic market town and ride completely flat tours in the direction of Hungary, crisply hilly in the direction of Southern Styria and Slovenia or peppered with mountains in the direction of the Almenland Nature Park, Teichalm, Stuhleck and Wechsel. In addition, Eastern Styria offers many roads with little traffic, such as the region Joglland-Waldheimat, which allows you to switch off despite the physical challenge. For those who rather crave kilometers instead of meters in altitude, a bike tour on flatter roads in the direction of Vulkanland or Raabtal is a good choice.
