Kupferdachl & Das Edelsbrunner restaurant

Awarded by Gault Millau: 4 toques (17 points) | Falstaff: 3 forks | Kulinarium Steiermark

The Kupferdachl is located in Premstätten near Graz and combines traditional tavern cuisine with modern gourmet cuisine. After a comprehensive renovation (August 2025), there are now two restaurants under one roof: the á la Carte restaurant Kupferdachl and the fine dining offering “Das Edelsbrunner”.

In the "Kupferdachl" with 2 toques, you will find regional and seasonal dishes; authentic tavern classics like Wiener Schnitzel made from veal are also on the menu. The cooking here is at a high level with a touch of down-to-earth quality - simply delicious.

In the fine dining restaurant “Das Edelsbrunner” with 4 toques fine dining is offered in a small, exclusive setting (16 seats). For the redesign, local partners were commissioned, and the design is modern and characterized by copper, including a bar made from the original restored Kupferdachl. The ambiance is complemented by a large wine cabinet with over 300 selections.

Tip: The Kupferdachl also offers cooking classes. From baking bread to preparing fish - the offerings change and provide exciting courses for curious beginners and advanced cooks, with partners able to join for dinner at selected evening classes.
