The best way to get to Altaussee is to plan with google.at/maps.

From the Seeklause, walk along the lake promenade in the direction of the beach café, turn right after the boat huts and continue along the gravel road. Above the campsite, continue along the road for a bit and turn right after about 20 meters. Return to the starting point along a forest and root path.

Near the Seeklause there is a beautiful playground in the park by the lake.

In Altaussee there are numerous paid parking spaces available. The nearest parking lot to the starting point of the hike is the parking lot Seeklause, parking lot Scheichelmühle or parking lot Kurhaus.
