Kloepfermarkt Eibiswald was merged with the five neighbouring communities of Aibl, Großradl, Pitschgau, St. Oswald and Soboth in 2015. The municipality located in the southern part of western Styria with nearly 7,600 residents lies at the foot of the Koralpe and in the south borders Carinthia and Slovenia. The pass roads through Soboth and the Radl Pass are very popular especially among motorcyclists and for excursions. "Boundless fishing" can be enjoyed in the mountain streams, ponds, rivers and in the artificial lake. Fine chestnuts and wine grapes mature in the valley, which has all the advantages of a temperate climate. The wine taverns located in the wine-growing region invite you to enjoy some homemade food and excellent wines here along the "From the Glacier to the Wine" hiking route. We recommend the Styrian Schilcher.
Due to the central location, Eibiswald is an ideal starting point for excursions into the entire region. The hiking village of Soboth and the numerous walking and hiking paths, 19 themed trails and many sports and activity offers, including 18 attractive mountain biking and e-bike routes, guarantee guests a relaxing and unforgettable holiday.
