by Ksch. Franz Robert Wagner, with Renate Linortner, flute and Katrin Hinterlercher, harp.
Sigmund Freud and Arthur Schnitzler were kindred spirits in their exploration of the human psyche. In Schnitzler's plays and stories, we often find loners who provide information about their thoughts and actions in a kind of self-assurance.
Ksch. Franz Robert Wagner will present two stories by Schnitzler - “Flowers” and “A Farewell” - and he will present a dramatic scene entitled “The Over-excited Person” with two surprise guests. The motifs of farewell and remembrance can be found in all these literary gems. Texts that revolve around the themes of the beginning and end of a life or love and thus provide information about the hidden depths of the characters, about their (un)consciousness.
