Fishing on Lake Toplitzsee
GrundlseeThe fishing license for the Toplitzsee you can get directly in the fishing lodge at the Toplitzsee during opening hours. The license includes the reservation of a boat.
Lake Toplitz is a small lake in the Salzkammergut region of Styria. It is fed by two waterfalls as well as an underground tributary from Kammersee and is located between Kammersee, which is surrounded by mountain walls and known as Traunursprung, and the larger Grundlsee.
Please note the applicable license conditions:
- Fishing season lasts from June 1 to August 31.
- Daily permits are issued in limited numbers
- Fishing is allowed only during daylight hours
- A maximum of 3 salmonids may be caught per day. The sale is prohibited
- Fly fishing: Only one fly with a single hook is to be used
- Spinning: as bait are allowed flashers of any kind or dead bait fish. As bait fish may be used only fish from Lake Toplitz.
- Trolling: Maximum two anglers per person with only one hook each.
- All pike caught are to be removed
- The Brittel dimensions are 30 cm for brown trout, 30 cm for Arctic char and 60 cm for lake trout
- Fishing on the chamber lake is not allowed

01 June to 31 August
Fishing is only allowed during the daylight hours

Euro 45,00 adults (this price is also valid for youths!).
