Nikolaus-Lenau-Hill
Bad AusseeThe poet Nikolaus Lenau (1802-1850) felt a great appreciation for the landscape of the Ausseerland.
His letters and his handed down preference for the most beautiful places of the Ausseerland testify to this. But also the Ausseer painter Hugo Cordignano (1882-1959) and the actor Rudolf Forster lived nearby.
The Nikolaus Lenau Hill is located near the Ausseer Alpine Garden and lies on the Bad Ausseer Via Artis hiking trail (station no. IV)
for free.
