Seidlzupfmusi” - one name, several interpretations. In a nutshell, they are six “young” men from the Styrian Salzkammergut region who have come together through their love of local traditions, but above all through their passion for the music associated with them.

Tradition-conscious and yet cosmopolitan. This means an extensive program with folk music from the “Hinterbergertal”, across the borders to Salzburg and Bavaria and modern classics from all over the world. With two Styrian harmonicas or clarinet, trumpet, bass flugelhorn, guitar and double bass as the basic line-up, the tried and tested is carried forward and forgotten tunes are brought back to life. With a lot of joy and “Gspia” in the music, they have made it their task to let the folk music culture continue to flourish in its historical splendor. However, their openness to new things also leads the six musicians into the world of jazz sounds and pop classics from the German-speaking world and beyond.
