VordernbergThe nostalgic single chair lift gently takes guests from the valley station to the sunny heights of Präbichl. Ideal for connoisseurs, hikers, and anyone who wants to enjoy the view in peace.
With a comfortable speed of 2m/second, the first 600 vertical meters are conquered, reaching an elevation of almost 1,800m for breathtaking views into the surrounding mountains, including the most beautiful views of the Erzberg. The ride to the mountain station lasts about 12 minutes. From there, one can dive into the mountain world around Präbichl on numerous marked hiking trails of various difficulty levels.
Prebichl fans joke that the greatest difficulty lies in choosing one of the countless beautiful routes - with highlights such as the Hochschwab Süd region, Grießmauer, Trenchtling-Hochturm, and the Leobner Mauer beckoning. All are easily accessible in about 2 hours. For culinary delights, the Polsterei (Polsterschutzhaus 1,792m), the Leobnerhütte (1,582m), and the Gsollalm (1,201m) take care of guests' well-being.

By prior arrangement for groups of 23 or more, the single chairlift can also be operated outside of opening hours (from 29.5. to 26.10.2025).
Groups with fewer than 23 people must pay a minimum amount of € 300.00 per transport.

If we have groups registered, you have the chance to go up during a certain time window.
