Close to nature and family-friendly, the Wald am Schoberpaß leisure lake is a real summer gem. Fed by the Schoberbach stream and created in the 1970s, the lake reaches temperatures of up to 26 degrees in summer and scores with drinking water quality.
Whether relaxed swimming or active water fun: highlights such as the Ice Tower XL, a water trampoline, beach volleyball, table tennis, a raft and a jetty provide plenty of exercise and adventure. Younger guests can let off steam in the children's play area with its wobbly footbridge, towers, slides and covered sandpit. A separate non-swimmer area offers safety for families.
The lake is accessible both by public transport and by car and is ideal for relaxing days of swimming in the countryside. Dogs are not allowed so that water quality and bathing enjoyment are maintained.
