Located at the foot of the sea wall and nestled in forests, the Leopoldsteinersee unfolds its full splendour all year round.
The mountain lake is located at 628 m above sea level, is 1,400 m long and 370 m wide, its lowest point is 31 meters.
The scenic, flat tour around the lake with impressive views of the rugged mountains and climbing walls all around offer enjoyment for the whole family.
With electric and rowing boats from the local boat rental you can enjoy idyllic sunshine right on the lake.
The lake offers refreshing cooling on hot summer days.
Athletes can enjoy thekneipp via ferrata, 3 running and Nordic walking routes, a mountain bike route and an idyllic Kneipp facility.
