Brücken bauen, um neue Wege zu finden
Bruck an der MurExhibition in the Town Hall Courtyard
Under the title “Building Bridges to Find New Paths,” the artists' association Sezession Graz presents an impressive selection of paintings and sculptures – all inspired by the central motif of the city: the bridge.
The bridge as a cultural emblem is more than just a motif in Bruck an der Mur – it is part of the urban identity. Originally conceived as the annual theme for the cultural year 2023, it will remain a focal point of the cultural direction. It is no coincidence: There are currently 82 bridges in Bruck an der Mur – they connect where there is separation, enable encounters, exchange, and shifts in perspective. Bridges symbolically represent overcoming opposites, collaboration, and understanding. They open new paths and create connections between people, ideas, and worlds. Especially in challenging times, their significance becomes particularly apparent – also in artistic expression.
The vernissage for the exhibition takes place on Wednesday, July 2, at 5 PM in the courtyard of the Town Hall.
The exhibition can be visited until July 31.
