On the annual Leonharditag there is the tradition of the freedom carrying out. Starting at 10. am there is a short introduction to the theme in the town hall of Murau followed by a procession to the main square. There then at approx. 10.30 the freeing with reading of the market call is put on. Afterwards there is the traditional Leonhardimarkt with many vendors from the region!
