Gasthaus Mossauer
St. Marein/FeistritzA good village inn with Styrian home cooking and a great wine cellar invites you to many celebrations.
At the Mossauer inn in St. Marein-Feistritz, you can look forward to a lived tradition – this family-run establishment has been operated with great passion for four generations. It is located in the green heart of Austria, surrounded by the Seckauer Alps, and is closely connected to the region and its culinary traditions. The inn offers regional specialties such as “Murtaler Steirerkas,” hearty bacon, fresh farmhouse bread, and oven-fresh roast pork. The kitchen cooks for you upon reservation – there is no à-la-carte service, but plenty of time and love for each dish.
For your celebrations and events, various venues are available: The “Alte Gaststube” and a cozy parlor are available for smaller groups, while the newly built winter garden can accommodate up to 15 guests. For larger celebrations of up to 80 people, there’s the Steirersaal. A special highlight is the lovingly restored, rustic wine cellar – the “WeinoThek” – which also serves as a venue for wine tastings, birthdays, or anniversaries. The extensive wine selection is managed by an experienced sommelier.
You can also spend relaxing hours in the cozy guest room – whether enjoying an after-work beer, a piece of homemade cake, or in good company at the regulars' table.
The Mossauer inn is your place for enjoyment, regionality, and cozy gatherings.
